Can We Skip Winter?!

Many people seem to have a favorite season. Unfortunately, even the warmer places to live have a ton of weather problems as well--my daughter and her family live in Florida. Yes, they don't have snow where they are. But they have had several hurricanes and bad, bad floods. They moved to an area now that is out of the high risk flood area--but home insurance in Florida now is wild. The summers are so terribly hot and humid in the daytime, they wait until evening to spend much time outside. Plus, Florida has every single creepy crawly creature known to mankind, and most people have to learn to deal with that, too. I guess I am lucky, I have lived in many places, the deep south, the far north, so I am used to all weathers now. I hope you do not get too much snow.

At least you have a heating system indoor and this is still comfortable in winter.

I like winter, it is 10x better than summer here, but I do not especially enjoy blizzards. The one we had a couple of years ago was horrendous and we lost power for 3 days. I sure hope there is not a re run of that this year as we are slated to get more snow than usual.

It rains here all winter and I love the rain. I do not like the snow at all it is dangerous .I do like your picture.

I wish I could skip winter too. I hate dark and gloomy days.

I've never had to drive on snow, but I can imagine in must be a pain. I'm not a winter fan, I dislike having to put on so much clothes, grrr. Hopefully they clean up the roads a bit before you have to drive. And that penguin looks very cute, love it, thanks!
