I had the best day.

This morning after church I met one of my best friends for lunch (shrimp risotto), and then we went to a movie (she works on Saturdays, so it’s always meet on Sundays). It was so nice! I laughed so hard, and so did she. We plan on a vacation in March, in the works for two years (gave us time to save, plus we got a good deal). We went to the same place before, but there is so much left to explore, and she really wanted to go back to Branson. I don’t have the energy to go past Missouri. 
She’s a breath of fresh air, and I’m so thankful for her.
When was the last time you felt like you had “the best day”? I feel like I’ve been having a lot good ones lately. Is there anyone who feels like that every day?

@snowy22315 Joaquin Phoenix always brings a lot to his roles so I bet he really makes the movie. I just keep thinking about a short guy exiled to Elba, and how if Joaquin Phoenix really were Napoleon, how nobody on earth would have exiled him.

I'm glad you had such a nice day, Amber. Days spent with a good friend are so nice. I'm glad you have a vacation to look forward to in the spring, that's nice.

@AmbiePam Wouldn't it? I thought we were supposed to be able to do stuff like that (and have flying cars, etc.) in the 21st century.

That does sound like an awesome fun day especially getting together with a best friend . I'm happy to hear that you'll be able to go on a vacation together in March.

I'm glad you had such a good day. My husband makes me happy just about every day. Every day I have with him is a blessing, even when he's cranky. Have a good week.
