Tuesday Morning Brief

Good morning from a chilly Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's 6:30 AM and still dark. Another cold day. It's currently 17 F with a wind chill of 10 F. Tomorrow will be 38 F and warmer each day in the 40s F with 47 F and rain on Christmas. I'm not happy about that.
Today is a busy and fun day. I have Bible study this morning with a talk by the fire department on home safety for seniors afterward, with lunch provided.
Tonight is the round robin in the building with refreshments after. It will be fun seeing the apartments of various residents here. I'm decorating today to get it ready for the round robin. I have something for the refreshment table.
In the meantime, I'll work on the notifications and work on Wilderness Challenge. I still expect to finish this edit by tomorrow.
That's how my day is looking. I also need to do some shopping. I'm out of bananas. I also need to get ready for my open house on New Year's Day. Something I do every year.

@just4him That's warmer than normal. I like it. Last year we had those high winds, snow, and very low temperatures for Christmas. But then it warmed right back up. So the last few years for the most part this has been normal

We are traveling for Christmas, so I don't mind warmer than average weather.It is better than being caught in a blizzard. Back when my extended family was alive we did Round Robins at least once. I haven't heard that term since then..but I guess it is still used. They are fun.

I suppose I am different than most, I do not enjoy being at other peoples or having other people in my home. I think it is because of growing up in Philly and there were 1000s of people within an arms reach of our home. The walls between the row homes were thin so it was like a big group home, you could hear your neighbors business whether you wanted to or not.
Enjoy your bible study and get togethers with your friends.

There are still a few days for the weather to change, but the weather people have no hope of a change at this point. I'm praying for no rain at this point. I'm almost afraid to watch the weather report. They inched the temp up another degree last night to 49. I do not want to see 50 on Christmas day.
