I've made a start on making some Christmas decorations

I’ve written about coming to this house-sit and finding there are no Christmas decorations. @BarBaraPrz gave me a great link and in the photo you can see the paper star I’ve made following the YouTube tutorial. Thanks, my friend.
When we go to town on Friday, I might try to buy a notebook with coloured pages and make some more. I didn’t bring any paper with me other than a small, lined notebook.
Before I left home, I had downloaded some instructions for a crocheted Christmas angel. I’d bought some fine wool and my hooks so I decided to make an angel. It didn’t work out too badly although it’s only about an inch high. Then I got to and made a bell out of my head.
The bell looks a bit strange but I’ve made a second one which looks better. I have to ask my sister-in-law to bring a bodkin/needle when she comes on Christmas Day so I can weave in the ends. Then I’ll put them an indoor plant that we’ll use as a Christmas tree.

Your decorations are pretty, I like particularly the star. The Angel is cute, I agree that the bell looks a bit strange.
If you find in the house paper toiled tube, this is a link to make pretty decorations. I did it last year.

How cute! We still have to put out little tree up. It takes about 1 minute; but hubs always has an excuse as to why he can't do it!

Very good! I wonder how difficult it would be to make a star from tin foil... maybe I'll give it a try later on.

Your angel came out great and I can see that the other one is a bell. You did a good job and your decorations will add a bit of festivity while you house-sit.

I've learned how to make a star. I use gold or silver paper to make stars. It's enjoyable to make your own decorations.
