20 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. A bit trying with a cracked rib, but not every day is perfect. But it is good.
I'm thankful I got up when I did this morning. I got the laundry into the washer by 4:30 AM. It means I got four hours of sleep as I went to bed at 11 last night.
I'm thankful for the exercise class this morning. I put five miles on the bike during the short tape. Only three people this morning. Christmas is coming and people are busy. I'm also thankful I have all my steps and a lot more. Right now, I'm over 9K.
I'm thankful for rock painting today. It's always a fun relaxing time. I stopped at Walgreens on my way to pick up a sympathy card for my friend who runs the rock painting class. She lost her kitty last week. I also got her a gift for Christmas.
I planned on painting a bird on the rock I prepainted the background for, but it turned into a snowman family. I'll bring it home next week.
I'm thankful for the nap I got this afternoon. It was a good hour in the recliner. It showed me it's the best place to sleep until my rib heals.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Wilderness Challenge. I didn't have time to get it finished as planned. I'll have it done before the end of the year. I don't have much more to edit. Maybe fifty pages give or take.
I'm thankful for prayer tonight. Only two of us for now. I suggested we meet in her apartment until they fix the garage door. She agreed.

Sounds like a good day there, minus the pain with your rib. Hope that it feels better soon. Glad you could still have a good day. Rock painting sounds fun. Making some Christmas themed ones would be a cool idea!

Thank you. Yes, I had a good day. I made several Christmas and winter themed ones last year. Now, I'm making more winter themed ones.

I remember you rockpainting hobby. Now you're painting birds on rocks. That's great.
By the way, is that your Christmas tree on picture? It's wonderful. I love it.

No, this isn't my tree. It's from the round robin I participated in a few nights ago. We visited many apartments, and I took pictures of their trees. They were beautiful.
I decided not to paint a bird this time. I painted a snowman family. I will bring the rock home next week.
