Tragedy During Holiday Time

I had just written about lovely places to visit during Christmas time in an article. One of the cities was Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. This morning I saw a newsletter in my email. A mass shooting at Charles University in Jan Palach Square in Prague. To say the least, it rendered me speechless. All we can do is pray for all involved. Eleven people are dead including the shooter, pardon me I must say idiot here, and thirty were injured with nine seriously injured. You can click on the link to read more.

It is a shame that an armed gunman shoots and kills 15 people in the Czech Republic as well injuring 25 persons before the was rubbed out.
Our world is going mad with these tragic events.

@snowy22316 it is very tragic, I had jsut done an article about Christmas Markets in Europe and I know there are a lot of tourists there now and the markets are set up on squares and then this happens,

@JudyEv so glad that couple are all right, I was just writing about Christmas Markets in Prague and then read this terrible news. At this time of the year, all the squares are filled with people in Europe.

I saw a headline about that. Just awful. Shootings like that can happen anywhere in the whole world. Not one person on Earth is safe.

@TheHorse he was called David Koza, a university student who before he got to the university shot a dad and baby girl on the outskirts, also shot his own father and then went on to kill so many at the university and no one is really sure why,

It is quite shocking
A few years ago my friend was living in Prague and I used to go there a couple of times a month for two years or so...a very nice city and nice people.
