I love the Christmas music. Most of it anyway. I was listening to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and now I am listening to instrumental classical Christmas music. My all-time favorite is The Christmas Song sung by Nat King Cole. What's yours? When I was a young girl and we were still living in Pocatello I remember laying right by the Christmas tree and looking up at the lights and ornaments. I watched The Nutcracker on the television. The funny thing is that I can't sit through it now. I remember going Christmas caroling with my two cousins, Marlene and Carol. We would drive up into what was called the Highlands where the rich people lived. After singing several songs people would come out and bring us hot chocolate or peppermint sticks. I miss those times a lot. Merry Christmas to each and every one of you!

I love Christmas music, and my favorite is “O Holy Night”. Of the non traditional Christmas songs, I have to go with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You”. A lot of people choose that one, but I do love it.

Those are wonderful memories. I love Christmas music too. I like most of it. I guess you would need to ask what song I dislike - Run Run Rudolph.

OH so do I Celt, I miss the Christmases past so much. The wonder of a child..I appreciated Christmas so much. It is so different now. I guess I like the Christmas hymns we would sing in choir.

Merry Yule to you. I love listening to the various renditions. Applachian, Celtic, The Piano Guys, Bluegrass with dulcimers. All so pretty.

I think Christmas has a way of bringing out the nostalgia in most people. Whether it is celebrating the birth of Jesus to just the merriment of holiday decorations and Santa Claus there is something for each of us to embrace. What fun singing carols must have been for you, and who doesn't enjoy hot chocolate on a winter night. One memory I can share is those nurseries where you pick out and cut your own tree down. And getting some hot cider when we were through. That was a fun time!
