25 December - What I'm Thankful for Today

I have an oops in my oven. I filled the loaf pans too high for the cake I made for tomorrow. I also needed to add to the timer. Good evening from a gray, non-white Christmas in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's not raining yet, but it's coming. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Merry Christmas. I have much to be thankful for today. I'm thankful for the six hours of sleep I got last night. I seriously thought about going back to bed at 3 this morning, but I knew I would only lie there and not get back to sleep. I'm thankful I got the notifications done early and twice today. It's good to see how those of you celebrating Christmas are celebrating or what you are doing in your corner of the myLot world. I'm thankful I got my Secret Santa gifts delivered early. I know it was only supposed to be one a week. I accidentally bought six gifts. So last week I gave her two and today the other two. I'm thankful for my friend down the hall. She gave me a wonderful Christmas present - a Grinch mug with a chocolate mug cake in it with the direction on the mug. It's perfect! I won't need to use the other mugs I have for it now. I love mug cakes. Have you made them? They're easy and perfect for one serving. I'm thankful my friend liked the Secret Santa gift, delivered to me, that I gave her. No, I don't like chocolate-covered cherries. I only had them in the apartment long enough to get them out the door. Regifting started early. I'm thankful for the quiet day. I tried to work on a book, but I soon closed two of them. I did read a book a friend gave me. Cross by Max Lucado. It's not a long book, but it is a wonderful book about the Cross.
