6 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a beautiful day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The ground is white. I hope it stays that way. My computer temp says 31 F. So, it should stay white.
I have much to be thankful for today, as always. However, my enemy is working overtime. I must be doing something right. My enemy? Satan, of course. I'm unable to go to church tomorrow and I'm hoping I don't need to cancel more appointments this next week. We'll see how the days work out. The reason? Pink eye.
Okay, for what I'm thankful for today.
I'm thankful I got up when I did this morning - 4:30. I got a lot done before I got on the computer.
I'm thankful the laundry is done and put away.
I'm thankful I got the birthday cards delivered around 5 AM.
I'm thankful I got the door decorations taken down and the Christmas cards are off the closet door, too. I have the snowman door hanger on the door along with the other snowman plaque my best friend gave me for Christmas a couple of years ago. That one is Packers dedicated. Each of the three snowmen have something Packers they're wearing or holding. You can see it above.
I'm thankful I got the notifications done early this morning and just now. It's always good to know what you're doing in your part of the world. Though personally, I think it's too early for spring cleaning. Winter still has several months before spring shows up. The calendar knows nothing.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Guns of War. Though it didn't feel like work as I listened to it, and only put in commas where necessary. I want to finish this one too this year.

I was just thinking I was wondering if you could find out how to convert one of your books into an audiobook? That might be fun and you could even read it..and save money on a voice artist.

Thank you for the update. Sorry you have pink eye. That's such a nuisance! I'm thankful that my hubby is watching the Browns lose to the Bengals with me. Sigh.

@just4him You're welcome. The Browns put in a bunch of replacement players since they were going to be in the playoffs anyway. They saved those players from injury. I'm glad the Packers are in the playoffs.

You do have a lot of thanks going on today. Sometimes it's easy to forget to be thankful for even the smallest of things.
I'll be very thankful if the snow we are getting is over 3 inches so our HOA does the shoveling. Otherwise I won't be very happy if we have to shovel this mess ourselves.

@just4him we got 6 inches so they came and shoveled and plowed. My kids got a foot where they live and spent the day snow blowing and shoveling.

I'm thankful that I got a new washing machine ordered. Ours was banging so I ordered a new one. It came on Sunday and my mother hooked it up.
