Breaking Out Of Youth Facilities

United States
January 11, 2024 6:37am CST
Last week, we had a young man on the run for murder. He lived not far from where Sada lived. He assaulted her killed her, and set her on fire. She was 70. He was on the run a good while and finally was caught. Then 3 young men escaped from a detention center, and has been on the run. They shot a woman because they wanted her cell phone, she refused and got shot. They did take her car. Can you imagine having to live on the lookout all the time. This is the second time they escaped from the center. When they start stealing cars, they could wind up anywhere.

I don't think it was. We just have a 24-hour news cycle now and so we are more prone to hear about things that happen all over more than before.

@porwest YES, it was A LOT better. I used to ride the train alone, now I do not even dare to go alone to the railway station.

This is terrible these callous murderers. Yes I remember I can imagine this..I remember when I was a child living far out in the sticks with just my Mama and me and we were very afraid as there was an escaped convict loose in the woods around there and Dad was at sea.

It seems. They love to come to wooded areas. Very troubling.

I'm sorry men escaped from detention centers and killed people. I hope they are caught and returned to a more secure facility.

I do too. Trying not to get caught they're harming innocent people.

This is so sad to see what our world is turning into,And this is happening all over ,It is getting to the point where a person doesn't feel safe even going out in the daytime .there used to be good neighborhoods but it seems they are all going down The problem is they don't get much punishment for their actions, the Jails are ful and the court system is overcrowded so sorry for the family

People can be despicable, but it also sounds as if security needs tightening up

It has always been and will always be that sometimes bad things happen and sometimes good people are simply at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Really terrible. Its one thing to rob people, but quite a different thing when these violent acts for which they have no remorse, are coming with theft. It is all so unnecessary.
