Cold weather really makes me tired. I did not even get here yesterday, but I did go to work.
I was in bed before 8 p.m. last night.
This morning I am awake. I have gotten dressed, eaten a big breakfast and dreaded the drive to town.
I just got a call. . . school is again cancelled due to drifting on east-west roads, high winds and very bad wind chills. That is fine by me, as I was considering calling in sick.
My back has serious muscle spasms today.
So now, I will take my laptop to the warmer living room and I will take a muscle relaxer, and I will take it easy for the whole weekend. I do not really like my laptop, but I also do not like to be cold.
It has been a while since we have had a January this filled with winter weather.
Monday we have an inservice, unless it gets cancelled for the same reasons. It might.

I hope you will be safe inside Heather.
My poor sister who lives in Ottawa, KS there..her heat does not work in her car and she must drive to work with her head out the window to see..I tell you there is no end to it.

It could be a radiator problem with her car. I have been there and done exactly what you are describing.

@RebeccasFarm I hope she can get it taken care of. I have vague memories of reaching out my van window and scraping ice off as I drove, many years ago.

January is making a liar out of climate change

Some people would say that this weather is representative of climate change. I do not know. I am not sure anyone knows. Yes. I am glad to be at home.

Some winters it hangs on and on. The wind has made some snow sculptures, that is for sure.

I have a variety of heated items for just about any part of my body. I sleep on a heated mattress pad. I am pretty sure I lifted when I should not have at school yesterday, and then the cold weather tends to bring on muscle spasms for me. This one cleared up nicely with a muscle relaxer and a nap.

Sorry to hear you are having muscle spasms, not so cold here. Rather warm.. Tornado threats plus it is raining. I'm glad school was cancelled.. Take it slow.
