Cancellations

I was on my way to visit with Jane over coffee at Wendy's but she cancelled on me.
She has developed a lot of health problems in the last few months and also her husband told her the roads were slick.
Ken was right, as I went ahead and drove to Hillsboro to visit a thrift shop the roads became more slick. In town they were much worse. I got some bargains though.
There were sand or salt trucks out on the highways near my house, but that is 23 miles from Hillsboro, and Jane and Ken live even further west than that.
We will meet up on a better day.
Coming back we had nasty fog between Marion and Hillsboro. I did not like that a bit.
The weather has been getting me down mentally, but the last I looked there will be sunshine for a few days next week. It will feel so good.

We have sun and that should help. I am trying to make some decisions and that is bringing me down as well.

@GardenGerty Maybe some places..Probably not here..however, it shouldn't be that cold..not like the middle of Jan. was.

When I got home, I stayed home. We have sunshine for the next four days, the forecast says.

I have seen worse, and I am very careful. In town in Hillsboro though if you put on your brakes for a corner stop sign you would sort of slide.
