It's like summer here. The sky is blue and the sun is out. Had a beautiful full moon a few days ago. We are getting some warm days coming with maybe a little rain. I think it's weird to start February this way. Up nearly to 60. Weird. Our air quality is good at 60 right now. Not bad. It is 49 degrees out right now.
Get ready for my posts on my third and fourth marriages. They are going to be spicy.
I got my daughters and I's new phones back in July. (I get Tracfone from HSN and we have a year to set them up.) Unlimited on text and minutes. I think we get a really good deal. $200 for 2 phones, unlimited texts, and minutes for a year. That includes the phone, a protector, a charger(plus a car charger), and a cord to upload old phone data info into the new one. We set hers up back in October and just set up mine the other day. It is a Samsung and has a larger screen. It is about two inches larger than my last one. It is so nice. I sure like Samsung. My grandson helps me and you just use a short cord(included)to feed all the data from my old phone to my new one. They sure have made it easy for us.
I am sad that Verizon has bought Tracfone because of my past experience with them.

@celticeagle So far smart phones have not been forced on us. Cricket appears to be as good as anybody else.

What phone service? I have no mobile or smart phone, I have no one to call and when I do call I use Textnow on the Internet and make calls for free,

Interesting. I don't call out much but I do get calls from doctors and such for both the kids and myself.

I wish it was warmer here. We are in the 30s.
We have Verizon here. They had the best deal for us as we need a hotspot for Internet

Darn. Maybe in a few days. I had a bad experience with Verizon and won't use them. I am wondering how I feel about them buying Tracfone.

@just4him .......Doesn't sound like Cricket has upgraded much. My granddaughter started out with Cricket about 10 years ago and she was saying that back then.

I had my usual day not much to cook as I had my no wheat, no rice day. I took only apple smoothie and salad in the afternoon.

I have a flip phone. I just want a phone, not a miniature computer. I have a laptop for that. I also have a camera to take pictures with, when I feel like it.

OH no Verizon bought Tracfone? That sucks.
I need to get rid of my phone and get the free service Lifeline..I am paying too much for this.
But the free phones are usually garbage.

I think my daughter had Lifeline for awhile. It was a very cheap phone and not very good as I recall.

We both have basic flip phones. Both of them now have a camera...not a really good camera, but a camera. It's going to be in the 30s and 40s this week. I'll take it as long as it doesn't s**w. Have a good week. I have Boost Mobile and pay $10 a month. Hubs has Lively and pays $20 or $25...I don't remember.

No one here has seen the sun for way, way over a week. Today was once again foggy and wet. Fog not as terrible as it has been, but still fairly thick.
My oldest son has me and his wife on his plan with AT&T. Verizon in my area is just not very good. With the plan he has, 5 total phones (his two sons, my grandsons) he is eligible for a new phone every year, just one. So the phones get rotated around at times. He keeps the newest old one until one of us might need one. Then that person uses that phone, and the next freebie phone goes to him/her. So we always have a spare, it's just not activated. I've had Samsung before but not for a long time now. I do love my iPhone, but would never have paid what the new price is now, it's way, way ridiculous.

We had heavy fog last night.
AT&T is a pretty good company. I used to work for them. Having a spare is a good idea. I like Tracfone because I get a phone and all the services and gadgets for the same price.
