14 Banks, 2 Brokerages and a Brinks Truck

Well, I suppose that's that. Another month down "on the books," as they say. And what a fabulous month it was. While we may be a few hours still away from calling January of 2024 a done deal, it is pretty much a done deal. I hope all of my wonderful myLot pals made payout. I know I did. Hence, a small hint to the title here. I know payout won't be until the middle of February but of course I like to make sure all of my ducks are well in a row. I already ordered my Brinks truck to deliver my funds. They do charge me a small fee. But it's worth it of course. Looks like the armored truck should arrive on the 16th. I have also scheduled a meeting which should occur on Tuesday, February 6th with the 14 banks where I will make sure to arrange the funds accordingly. They all have $250,000 limits on their FDIC insurance of course, so coordination is important. Don't worry. The meeting is in the afternoon, and since all of you are aware I will be taking my wife out for dinner on the 6th for her birthday, there should be no "conflict of interest" to worry about. We will have plenty of time to discuss how the money will be handled. Attending as well will be the two brokerage accounts I deal with, just in case there is excess money that needs to be dealt with. I don't have an exact figure just yet, although I assure you, I am doing the calculations as we speak. I don't like to come to meetings unprepared. How did your month go? Are you having to make similar preparations for the payout? Even PayPal contacted me to determine if they can handle the transfer, although they were not invited to the meeting. I consider them the middle man and not as important. But I did assure them everything should go smoothly. I will let them know if I need any "future assistance." I am pretty sure I have everything in order. I will, of course, double check everything. You can never be too careful when it comes to matters like this. Dammit. I forgot to call my accountant. I think he should be in that meeting. Tomorrow morning. I will call him.
