I was dressed for bed, early / myLot

I did not feel great when I got home last night from work. I was going to serve us some supper and go straight to bed. Bob came in just before 6:30 and said he needed to go to the VA emergency room (an hour away). So we went. It is his usual problem. Not life threatening, but uncomfortable and they cannot deal with it properly in our local ER. So we went. I decided that no matter how stressed and short things are at work I would not go in today. I would take sick leave. And I did. I have flu like symptoms, chills and body ache, but no fever. I think I am headed back to bed.

It's best you called in a sick day. I hope you feel better soon. I hope Bob feels better soon too. I'm glad it wasn't life-threatening.

It turns out I have stomach virus, so have called in for tomorrow already as well. You have to be symptom free for 24 hours before going back to work.

I went back to bed after getting up at 7:30 to pee, but I was awakened by a phone call at 9am. I now have an appointment for the second ultrasound on my leg, Friday 16th.
