It is very rare for the New York Police Department (NYPD) officers to work a detail in Brooklyn New York where a female sheep or ewe as they are called was seen running on the street in a parking lot near a Costco store on Saturday. After the ewe was wrangled by the NYPD officers, the ewe was then taken to the Brooklyn Animal Control. Then the ewe was taken transferred to the Skyland Animal Sanctuary via a truck driven by Mike Stura who is the president and founder of the animal sanctuary mentioned that the ewe who is given the name Lyn was seen near multiple slaughterhouses when she was seen running on the streets. Glad she's okay. Wild ones are scary cause you can't figure what they may do.

Of course, the poor baby got scared she was going to be slaughtered, If she will live they should let her know there are no worries,

I guess she has had a lucky escape from a yard near the slaughterhouse maybe.

Most likely the reason the sheep was on the streets in the first place.

Cute little lost lamb, now is found. Maybe wise enough to see the danger and then, escaped and saved himself from being killed. Thanks to NYPD. And to Skyland Sanctuary that have fostered and cared for him.

I'm hoping she wasn't a slaughterhouse ewe. I hope she will get a new home.

The sheep does not look that big, and it was good that it could be taken off the streets, and placed in the animal sanctuary. It was good that people gave a bah for the sheep, and rescued it like that.
