I do like spicy food a lit even though I know its not good for health and can easily make me a person with higher blood pressure and I do have phases when I get high BP although I am not too bad and not taking any pills for that (Thankfully). But even though if I try to eat non-spicy food I dislike it and I just cannot have non-spicy food. Do you have liking for Spicy food?

For myself, I love Indian food as long as it is not too hot. I like Mexican food also, but also not too hot. Now here is the rub. I have a mini rant about the word "spicy" when people are speaking of hot food. I think it is lack of knowledge, myself. To me, spicy food is food that is made with a lot of spices, such as Indian foods are. I do not think the word "spicy" has to mean "hot." There are some Chinese foods that are "hot" but I do not consider them spicy. So, yes, I love spicy food when the word "spicy" means food made with a lot of spices. No, I do not like spicy food if all you mean is "hot" food. I can handle up to what might be medium hot, however, "hot" is relative. Some people think what I cannot handle as too hot is blander for them. That means to me, it is like beauty being in the eyes of the beholder. "Hot" is in the mouth of the taster. I have seen some people eat some super-hot foods and their heads sweat from the heat! The hotter it is, the more they like it. I have seen some eat hot chili peppers raw and love it. I cannot imagine that being very healthy for them. I am not sure "spicy" food is bad for the health. I think it depends on the person's normal health condition. Some suffer ulcers if they eat something too hot. My ex-husband was from India, and he liked and always ate spicy Indian foods. He liked it hotter than I did. He had ulcer issues off and on over the years, but not from the food. It was from the stress in his life.

Yes I like spicy food. But sometimes my stomach gets upset if I eat spicy food regularly so I prefer to eat them not so often.

I don't like spicy food. I guess I never grew up with a lot of spicy foods so I never got used to it.
