Not going to the little Tesco again today.

I'm not going to the little Tesco again today because of the rain.
My Mum is having her cup of coffee at the moment, and then she says she's going to the shop. But sometimes she says that, then just sits back watching the telly and ends up going to the shop at about 4:00pm again! We'll see!
Yesterday evening my Mum was sitting on her sofa sleeping and snoring. Her snoring was SO bad that I couldn't concentrate on my reading! So I took my book into the toilet where it was nice and quiet and read it in there! 
My Mum wondered why I was in the toilet for so long!
Then when I went in my bedroom I went to go onto Facebook and the Wi-Fi wasn't working! So I went into the dining room, and it was as I thought! Someone had switched the Wi-Fi plug off! (My mother!) So I switched it back on, and the phone made a loud beep (because the Wi-Fi and the phones are connected!) My Mum wanted to know what I was doing in there aswell!
So then when I went back into my bedroom, everything was fine. 
Pancake day today! I'm going to be making my Japanese style pancakes..
So, what are you lot getting up to today?

Rain all week I believe, so I hope you’re well stocked up!
I’ve never heard of Japanese pancakes. I’ve just had traditional ones today. I’m not a big fan, but Nigella says we should have ‘crepes’ with either lemon and sugar, or golden syrup. So that’s what I’ve had.

@sharonelton A hood’s ok if it’s not windy. Unless you can tie it tight under your chin.
A burger doesn’t sound romantic, unless it was in the shape of a heart.
Yes, bubble and squeak has potato in it. That’s the ‘bubble’ part I think? I thought your Japanese pancake had potato in but you left it out because you couldn’t find the particular potato? I’d have just used something like King Edwards as a substitute.
Nigella has definitely got big something. Eyes maybe? 
Anyway, she’s made a fortune out of it and I’m a big fan.

Oh, we've got to go to the big Tesco again tomorrow afternoon, after my Mum and step-dad come back from their not-so romantic Valentine's lunch at the Samuel Johnson pub! And I was hoping to go down town on Friday because my weather app says cloudy but no rain that day. But then what does my weather app know?
I'd never heard of them until I went on my macrobiotic diet, but now I love them. They are savoury pancakes.
You always do what Nigella says?

No, it wasn't! That's just how I described it! They'll probably end up having a burger! I told them I didn't want to go because I didn't want to be a gooseberry! Truth is I want to have some peace and quiet at home!

I didn't find it funny, I found it irritating! I don't want her to know I was reading in the loo for two hours to get away from her snoring, and I don't want her to know that I was switching on the Wi-Fi so I could be on the internet in my bedroom till the wee hours of the morning!.

How do you make Japanese style pancakes? I have not heard of these before. What is the title of the book that you were reading in the toilet?

With flour, mirin, water, shoyu or tamari soy sauce mixed together, put in the fridge for 15 minutes. Then add chopped cabbage and spring onions, mix harmoniously and fry. Water, shoyu soy sauce and maple syrup I used for the sauce.
The book that I was reading in the toilet was called The Golden Torc by Julian May.

I had wifi troubles this morning too while I was watching a show on the computer. My mother snores loud too. I started listening to a good book today. It's called Silver Return to Treasure Island by Andrew Motion. I have to pay the power bill and decide if I want to buy something.

I'm sorry you've been having Wi-Fi problems. I hate it when that happens!
So you know how I feel. It's very irritating when she snores and it drives me CRAZY!

No milk, eggs or sugar mainly! I used flour, water, mirin, tamari soy sauce, cabbage and spring onions. For the sauce water, tamari soy sauce and maple syrup.
