Thanks to the concerns of neighbors in Sudbury Massachusetts who heard the cries of a kitten who was crying for help after the kitten that was trapped on top of a tall tree for days, Neil Irving of the Lynch Landscape & Tree Service and his team members took the initiative to use a bucket to get to the top of the tree and rescue the kitten who was grateful to be rescued on Valentine's Day.
After the kitten was rescued by Neil, the kitten was given the name Valentine. I am not sure if Valentine was returned to its owner or taken to an animal shelter by Neil.
Neil admits that he is a cat lover and rescuing the kitten made him feel good that he was able to rescue a kitten in need,

I am hoping that the kitten will find a new home soon.

That is true about cats climbing trees due to stress and fear.

I hope so as well that he kept Valentine as his own pet.

Cats are very good at climbing up trees, as their claws curve backwards and work well when climbing up trees. Their claws act as hooks, holding them in place as they climb up.
They are not very good, or smart, about climbing down a tree again, though, as they often try to come down head leading them, and as their claws are now pointing the wrong way, they cannot so readily hold themselves to the tree.
