Guilty pleasures, amusing descriptions / myLot

I am going to admit, I love looking through the Facebook Marketplace. It is extremely rare that I buy anything, or sell anything. In fact, I do not remember ever doing so. But I get to see how people value their treasures and describe their different offerings. Right now there is a car for sale that I keep coming back to. In the description we are told it has heated leather moon roof. I think they left out the word "seats"--heated leather seats-and a comma. So that is my laugh for today, thinking about a heated leather moon roof. I guess it would be comfortable if you wanted to stand and wave through it at a parade. Or it might be that it would melt the snow from the heat so you could still see out. Browsing the marketplace is free. Perhaps I will someday find an item I must have. It is one of my guilty pleasures.

I do not have a FB account, but I do like to wander through the items for sale on kijiji which is a free site to buy and sell things on. It always amazes me what people post, and like you, how they fail to do their proof reading before posting.

I have heard of that site, and always assumed it was only for Canada. Yes, same quality of posts.

That Marketplace is fun. I just saw something there that made me a bit sad- somebody trying to sell their dog statue collection for 400.00. Good luck, buddy.

Maybe they want to sell it so they can adopt another dog? Or so that it will be appreciated because their family does not.

I have sold things on there. I don't remember buying anything on there though. Somebody had something I wanted, but they weren't close to here. I did get a couple of free items though on the give away site. That reminds me I have something I want to list.
