I Was Kaitlyn's Babysitter for a Couple Years

Something I really enjoyed, was being the daycare sitter for our four grandchildren. At that time, my son in law was traveling all over the world, as an aircraft mechanic. Their family was living in East Tawas with his Dad, until they could afford to purchase a home. My daughter worked doing in-home nursing care in Bay City, for a few children with critical birth defects. I'd come early in the morning to make sure the three older children got ready for school and didn't miss the bus. Kaitlyn was three years old, so I'd stay there at Grandpa Adams house until she finally woke up. Kaitlyn and I had a great time together, five days a week. She loved watching Betty Boop or Popeye videos with me. Quite often, we'd visit city park or go to McDonald's playland. There would normally be other children playing, which made it nice:) This month Kaitlyn will be 22 years old, it's hard to believe she's all grown up!
