Our Temperature Today is Almost 40 Degrees

I can't believe how rapidly the temperature changes, from one day to the next. When I got up yesterday, it was a brisk ten degrees! This morning, it was 36 degrees at 8:00A.
In the late afternoon, we got some rain today. This weather is nothing like the Michigan February from the past. At times, it would be below zero for a week straight. Thank God, it's not doing this in 2024!
I mailed Kaitlyn's Birthday gift five days ago. This gave it plenty of time to arrive before the big day. I'm not sure if she will call us, it sure would be nice to hear her voice:)
Anyway, it has been a pretty nice day. Hamburgers and potato salad for supper tonight, yummy!

Winters are changing here to. We dont get the snow like we use to. Your supper sounds good. I hope Kaitlyn gives you a call when she gets birthday gift.

We don't get half as much snow, as years back. One time in the late 1950s, both our entrance doors were snowed shut! lol That storm, our schools were closed for a week! The snow drifts were up to our windows:)

@Happy2BeMe We got one heavy snow, not even close to what we got years back. Three years ago, we didn't get hardly any snow at all.

@kobesbuddy we use to have winters like that here. Here it is the end of Febraury and we have no snow on the ground. It snowed maybe 5-6 days here so far this winter and we didn't get any amount.

You are making the perfect supper for a nice weather day like you had today.
I have hamburgers planned for tomorrow night as I have to work at the office tomorrow and burgers are quick and easy to get done so supper will not be too much later than usual.

@kobesbuddy We like to eat at 5:20pm, that way I can get the kitchen cleaned up so that I can watch the end of the news afterwards.

We normally eat supper by 5:00P. I don't like to eat too late or my blood glucose drops too low.

I took that photo by accident! We were headed to the fireworks in Tawas and knew there wouldn't be any parking places. So, Jay just pulled off the highway, along Lake Huron. There wasn't any traffic, because most people had wandered off to sit on blankets on the beach. I took a picture of the pretty Bay, not planning that an America flag was being displayed. I was thrilled!

I am crazy about hamburgers, Jay always adds cheese on his burgers. Lettuce, tomato, mayo he uses all these things, too.

That is a lovely view. Our temps keep fluctuating from cold to cool to warm and it makes my head feel fuzzy, Enjoy your dinner.

It has been very warm in Calcutta also. Minimum temperature is around 19 degree celsius

The temperature in February would never warm up, years back. January, we would have a short thaw in the middle of the month. Then, the thermometer would drop down low, until March. March and April, we'd have blizzards off and on, snow that lasted only a day or two.
