Who says the "love has to end after Valentine's Day. Not me, I plan to carry this torch until the end of February. But sometimes being in love isn't always easy. As they say, "there is a thin line between love and hate," or put another way, unrequited love. And then one can wind up carrying a torch of despair... So, let's see what love-hate songs made my list. Hopefully, these "love-titled" tunes won't tug at your heartstrings when you solve them. Comments, musings, your own favorite "love titled" songs and trivia always welcome... ***LOVE THE ONE YOUR WITH-STEPHEN STILLS (1970) -Stephen Stills wrote some great songs as a member of Buffalo Springfield, CSN, Manassas, and CSNY. This tune came off his first solo effort and was a Top Twenty hit. The message seems pretty clear, if you've been dumped by a girlfriend, instead of feeling sad with regret, find someone else to love. It's a catchy number or as Stills says, "a good times song, just a bit of fun." TRIVIA CHALLENGE ***Now for our trivia music challenge for those who like to play along. Words in "quote marks" provide valuable clues! See if you can guess the song, artist or facts below... 1. Although "crazy in love" with his wife this band member wrote a not so lovely song about the numerous arguments they had. Every time she got "mad" at him she would "walk right out the door." "Like she did one thousand times before." This mellow song was the first single released from the "LA Woman album" and allowed their lead singer "Jim" to channel his inner Frank Sinatra croon. -Can you name this band and their love-titled song? 2. The song title appears to be romantic, yet the song is not. The singer gives the girl and this relationship his "best" shot, but they break up. As he says, "you see it your way, and I see it mine, and we both see it slipping away." This band has the same name as the "National bird for the United States" minus the bald part. You might recall some of this groups many hits including, "Lyin' Eyes, Witchy Woman and Hotel California." -Can you name this band and their love-titled song? Ok, let's channel our "inner lovebird" when you figure out those artists and songs. If you're stuck and need additional hints just let me know in your response. I'll be glad to supply one. Or, as the vocal group The Four Tops would say, "Reach Out and I'll Be There." Thanks for reading and responding to my music post!!! I will return with a new edition in the near future. Hope you can wait till then, lol. Stay tuned... Source- Wikipedia & songfacts.com https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZyj6GECjZ0

@dgobucks226 At least I knew The Eagles answer. I only knew that one because of my sister. She liked them so much she saw them in person, and she’s not one to shell out money for concerts. The only other ones she went to were Michael Buble, and Pavarotti; that is quite a change from The Eagles.

Now that's a response. Hey, "tis better to have loved and lost, than to not have loved at all." And those answers are all correct, "Love conquers all." Enjoy...

1. Seven horses seem to be on the march! Wonder if one of them had no name and marched into an America song later? Don’t you love my crazy answers madly? 2. Hey, there’s Don Henley and friends! I mean, The Dude Lebowski’s favorite band, man. The Seagles or something like that. J.D. Souther co-wrote three of the Eagles’ five #1 hits: “Best of My Love,” “New Kid in Town,” and “Heartache Tonight.” This is one of those three.

Crazy witty answers "I do, I do." Ha, ha. Now that's a phrase lovers want to hear. "Lord you gotta love" that J.D. Dude!!! Great songwriter. And if "Your Only Lonely" maybe some "White Rhythm and Blues" from Mr. Souther will cheer, you up. Love it!
