George tried to be helpful.

I have been having to order uber eats for groceries more recently because I can't just go to the store when I want or need. I needed to pick up some things for George to have some meals. So, when I told him, he tried to sit outside and wait for the driver. He couldn't do it because he's not toolarating the cold anymore. The blood thinner is making his blood too thin to help keep him warm and he has very little fat. Even with two sweatshirts on, he was out all of ten minutes. However, I applaud his effort.

No. I decided to let it go. It wasn't worth it. If Uber continued to dispatch drivers that were like that, then I would've. sometimes I just vent about a situation and then I'm over it.

@AmbiePam Well, I know what's best for me. And, since Uber is basically a ride share service.... I don't think complaining would've resolved anything. It's not like a cab, where their drivers are held accountable. Guy lost a fifteen dollar fair. It's his loss, really.

@kaylachan ......Same here. We don't use them often for rides and have good experience with both food and transport.

I've had a couple bad experiences, but not enough to make me stop using them.

Yeah, I know they do. I bless him for trying. Eventually I just want the low risk Asprin. I know George does, too.

He is trying. I tease him about veing lazy. But, I know it's not his fault. He'd rather be active. He's been better about eating with his nighttime pills.

I'm not on blood thinners but I'm cold until the weather warms up above sixty, then if it's not windy I'll be okay.
I wonder if some of our had to do with his eating too. Was he warmer before his stroke?
My husband is in blood thinners and while he eats a sweater more often he is still warmer than I am in the winter months although he weighs more than I do too.

I am glad to hear that George is making an effort. Blood thinners do make people colder, both in laws take/took them and they are always cold. Even when it is 90+ outside their thermostat stays on about 75-78. We can't hardly stand to be over there in the summertime.

Florida is like that. And, to think we're in Winter. I hate to think what Summer's going to be like.

Kudos to George for trying. My husband was always cold with his blood thinners too. I would have the AC on in the summer; and then go into his room; and he had on the electric heater. Have a good day.

I am sure life is going to get interesting. I have it about 73 in the house. And George seems to be fine with that.
