Bits of news!

I've just got a few bits of news for you. There's a lad in Church with learning difficulties - well they say learning difficulties, but he's actually very intelligent. His name is Ethan and we said goodbye to him today because it is his final Sunday in Lichfield. He's going to Minehead to study hospitality and stuff, and he's going to be working on the front desk in a hotel! You go Ethan! Conner, the youth leader, gave him a bag of goodies as a leaving present. Ethan is a lot older than he looks. He looks about 12 but he's actually 19! His five o'clock shadow is a bit of a clue to the fact he's older than he looks! Second bit of news. I ordered some things off of Amazon yesterday, and they just came! The items I ordered were small headed brushes for detail work. Wire mesh cloths for washing up and cleaning. They're supposed to get all the muck off your pots and pans without scratching. We'll see when I do the washing up if they live up to the hype, and the third thing was the book Chapterhouse: Dune by Frank Herbert. It's a second hand copy but it's not in bad shape..I've gotten books in worse condition than that from the Oxfam book shop! Third and final bit of news. Our Pastor, Steve Speight, is coming round to see my step-dad tomorrow at about 11:00am. It's his wife Jane's birthday aswell tomorrow, and at Church this morning my Mum told her she can come round too tomorrow with Steve. I don't know why in particular he wants to come round, but my step-dad hasn't been to Church in years because of his hearing. He manages to go to the luncheon club though. Anyway, that's all my news.
