A most peaceful feeling

Night before last I had a horrible night...I couldn't go to sleep, I had restless legs, and was really so terribly miserable that I felt like I was under attack. I finally fell asleep around 5 the next morning and felt so sick all day.
Last night I went to bed dreading a repeat of the previous night, but it was totally different. I didn't hurt anywhere, my pillow and covers were so soft and cozy, and when I closed my eyes, I felt that I was resting in the loving arms of Jesus.
As I was gently drifting off to sleep, I thought how wonderful it would be to fall asleep, and then to wake up in heaven.
I'm not ready to leave Dale and our kids just yet, but when God chooses, it would sure be a lovely way to go from this earth to heaven.
I know from reading God's Holy Bible that our lives don't end when our hearts stop beating. There's another eternal life promised for those who love Jesus and have given their lives to Him. If you're not sure where you stand with God, just ask Him. Then read His instruction manual, His Holy Word. He really does love you

I so agree. I have wonderful dreams with my dear mother of blessed memory, and they’re sweet reminders that one day we’ll be reunited around the Throne of Grace!

I am so glad that your second night was a gift of peacefulness. I am positive God sent it for you that night, whether you consciously asked him or not. It is always interesting to see where God has been moving all along.

I have had many of my loved ones visit me in my dreams, Glad you had such a peaceful feeling. It really is nothing to fear and I know when my time comes all I need is to see my soul mate reach a hand out to me and pull me to the other side,

I would love to fall asleep and wake up in the arms of Jesus. (not that I'm ready to die yet). Just sounds like the most peaceful way to pass from this earth to our heavenly father.
