Best Way to End This Day

I decided to go to my next door neighbor and tell her 'yes' I would take care of Missy tonight and this morning to find it isn't necessary. Her sister is flying out to California tomorrow with another member of her family to visit family out there. Instead, they invited me to go out with them for fish. After the day I had, it was the best offer of the day. We tried one place, no parking available and when we did get into the restaurant there was standing room only almost out the door. We went elsewhere. It took time to get there and we saw several good restaurants with full parking lots on the way to the golf course where they serve the absolute best fish I ever tasted. I looked over the menu several times and finally settled on haddock. It wasn't breaded, but broiled, lightly seasoned and drizzled with butter. Mouth watering melt in your mouth delicious. Served with several side options, I chose the baked potato with sour cream and butter. Then when the bill came, they paid for mine and only asked if I would leave the tip. No problem. I'm so glad I went over there when I did. I also invited them to dinner on Sunday. I'm making pot roast. They've smelled the aroma in the past, now they will get to enjoy it too. I have everything I need to make it, so I don't need to go to the store before Tuesday. I've been delaying going to bed again. I don't know if I can stay up late. It would be great if I could get eight hours of sleep. With the kind of day I had, it's possible. So, it was a great end to a difficult day. How did your day end?
