What I Ate Today - 3/8/24

Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
It's about time for me to get some sleep - but I wanted to share my food and numbers for the day.
Let's start with the weigh in.
Starting (3/4) - 216.4
Yesterday - 209.4
Today - 208.4
I lost another pound, and that makes it 8 pounds total since I started on Monday. I know it is probably all water weight (or mostly) but it is still pounds off.
Tomorrow I may gain a little because I may have a carb day. Going to do my best to be back on low carb Sunday though.
Blood sugars - Mostly around 110 throughout the day until after meal 3. Just checked a bit ago and it was up to 145. Not sure what that is about.
What did I eat?
Meal 1 - 3.5 oz sirloin tip steak cooked in butter and 1 egg
Meal 2 - 4.5ish oz salmon with ranch
Meal 3 - 4 oz deli turkey, 1 string cheese
Snack/Dessert (right after meal 3) - 1 serving peanut butter and 2 servings of sugar free chocolate chips
Macros for all the food:
Calories - 1,154
Protein - 89
Fat - 78
Carbs - 27
Fiber - 10
Sugar -3
Net carbs - 15
I think I did alright...hopefully the scale won't go up because I had more calories than the previous 2 days. I still was pretty low (under 1200). Protein was still good
Carb total was higher than I would like, but I had a decent amount of fiber to counteract that.
What do you think of how I did? Or anything you'd like to share or ask?

That's a lot of loss for such a short time.
I limit my carbs, but often I wish I could have more. It's hard to control.

I have maintained the weight loss well, so I am glad of that. I continue to just count the calories, it's habit now.

You're doing well. Eight pounds is good, even if most of it is water weight. Your macros also look good. Keep it up. Don't overdo it with carbs today.

I did have a lot of carbs today. Might once a week if it helps me get through the rest of the week. For now anyways. Hoping I don't go up too much
