I usually do because I am a movie buff, but I watched the Golden Globes and I don't think the Oscars will be much different. Mostly I like to hear about movies I missed and might want to watch. I will see what else is on though..I might watch another channel.

I haven’t watched the Oscars in about 15 years, but I would like to see Killers of the Flower Moon do well. One, because Lily Gladstone could make history for Native Americans, and two, because it was mostly shot in Oklahoma. I don’t think I saw many of the nominees for anything.

@snowy22315 No. I can’t sit that long in a theater, and I think it was released on Peacock, which I don’t have.I should look that up though because maybe it’s on something I do have.

No, I have not watched for years. Ever since they became woke and political. Plus, most of their movies they honor, I probably would not be interested in watching anyway. If you watch the last hour of the show, all the major winners are announced then, if you can remain awake that long.

@snowy22315 Yeah, a couple biggies like best supporting actor and actress then a long wait for the Best Picture, Director, etc. Too much wasted time for me.

Oh, no, I don’t have any interest in them. I can see the list of winners and the acceptance speeches tomorrow without waiting four hours of my time tonight.

Some of the jokes might be funny, and there is always a surprise or two

I watch the red carpet to see the outfits but I don't stay up for the actual ceremony. I don't go to the movies in general.

,es, I thought would be as it won slot at the Golden Globes. It was a good movie, but I would have liked to see less of Oppenheimer's story and more of the Japanese side of things

I watched a little bit of the Red Carpet coverage and some of the Oscars. Oppenheimer won Best Movie. I think we have access to that on Peacock or some such streaming service. I will wait until my husband is home before I watch it. Have a good week.

I didn't see too much of it. I was watching a movie, but I switched over during the commercials.

I don't care what they have to say, but I like to hear about movies I haven't seen. I didn't end up watching much of it though.
