Fancy Watch Story

After posting that about the inappropriate touching I remembered this one time when I was working as a cocktail waitress and the weird customer I dealt with one night. I worked as a cocktail waitress for a couple of years after I came home off the road with the carnival. I first worked at a place in Garden City called Hap's 101 Club. The guy that owned it was a real jerk and I still wonder if he wasn't affiliated with the mafia in some way. The men that he had as quests and just the way he conducted himself and his business make me wonder. But, the place was hopping most nights and I made good money in tips. The place was huge and it had two bars. One down by the dance floor and one up a level. So one night I was working the first bar and these four men took the table right by the bar. I went to take their order and there is always one in the crowd that is loudest and most aggressive. This guy was nicely dressed and full of smiles and had those eyes that sealed it. He's a snake! I get to his order and he puts his arm around my waist which I quickly swirl out of. He then shows me his watch. I will never forget it. This was before Apple watches and I had never seen such a huge watch. All the bells and whistles, that sort of thing. He has me look at the screen. Running across the front screen of this huge watch are the words F*ck Me! He laughed. Thought that was so funny. I smiled, excused myself, and went to retrieve the drinks. When I came back I had three LARGE, thick glasses of beer on my tray. For some reason, I know not why this macho guy puts his foot out and trips me. So help me. All those drinks went onto him. Oh, glory be. You think wrong if you think I wasn't called on the carpet over that one. Oh my goodness. But, it felt so good.

And onto his lap???? It is soooo satisfying to be get some retribution when you have to deal with a snake like that!!! I've been very lucky and not have that kind of thing happen, but I always had schemes and plans in my head when I had to deal with snakes. Now that Freya has settled down from her deciding that she HAD to play in the small area of house plants I had by the window, I might actually be able to get back to my spring cleaning! I have had to clean that area 4 times today from her deciding to either knock down a plant or fling dirt on the floor. Now I get to decide how things are going to be put back. OH JOY!!! I may get to move 300 pounds of books and a ton of bear making fur.... Have a great and wonderful rest of your day. Make sure that you have an extra special treat for yourself. I'm going to get into the fridge and get the rest of the asparagus and finish them off. Enjoy yourself, and extra love and hugs for all your household from me and Freya and Petey.

Yep, right on his lap. Funny how these things happen. Oh, that Freya! How's my bear coming along? Mmm. Asparagus. My x (DBY) and I used to go pick it ourselves. It grew along the ditch banks out in the fields.

@celticeagle Your bear is in the works. I was going to work a half day on the apartment and half day on bears. Freya had too much fun dumping my potted plants and watching me clean up the potting soil after her dump. I'm going to try to give it another go in the morning, with luck.

Cocktail waitress is one of the most aggravating jobs..I did it for one month..not for me. I wouldn't bow nor wear the clothes or non clothes rather they wanted me to wear.

I was in there drinking and partying with friends one night when they needed a waitress. I stepped up and was there for about two years. The people and customers were interesting for a while. Plus I was drinking and got free drinks sneakily while working so that added to my longevity.
