There are many movies I never cot to watch at the cinema because I was not of age.
Now, after many, many decades, I watched for the first time "A street car called desire" with actors that I saw when they were ol like Marlon Brandon and Karl Madden.
And now another very old movie is starting. It is called "East of Eden" based on part of the book by the same title written by John Steinbeck. The book was one of the best I´ve read in my life.
Do you like old classics? I do.

Old movies are the best. A lot of art and history often in them, as well..

These 2 movies show moments of the history of the US. But besides that they have interesting characters and very good actors.

That's awesome! Classic movies have a certain charm and depth that can be timeless. East of Eden is a great choice, especially if you enjoyed the book. Do you mind sharing what you liked about the book?

East of Eden is an epic book about California as seen through the following of one family there. The movie only took a bit of the book as it could not be shown even in a serial. It is one of the best books I´ve read and Steinbeck is one of my favorite authors.

I first watched Gone with the wind with my mom when I was a child. I took my children and my grandchildren to watch it. As I see it, it is an easy way of learning about a part of the US History, specilly for us, people that live in other countries.

If you read East of Eden, maybe you should read the book again. Even though the movie is quite good, it only shows a tiny bit of what the book portrayed.

It is a powerful movie. It seems to me that they don´t make movies like those any longer.
