About five hours ago my eyes started watering or itching. It is really bothering me to look at the computer screen.
I may be allergic to something in the air or maybe I rubbed something my eyes.
So, in addition to my regular evening anti histamine, I took two Benadryl and I fully expect to just pass out soon.
I found a bottle of eyedrops and it is so old it had sealed itself shut. I could not get drops out of the dropper, so I just poured a splash in each eye. It helped as long as I tried to sleep.
This reminds me of the times I have accidentally gotten sunscreen in my eyes.
So, we have eaten and I am going to sleep.
Another thing that may be hurting is that I have had very short nights the last two nights. Plain old not enough sleep.
So good night fair friends. I am trying not to make typos.

I am much better this evening and in a better mood as well. I did sort out what the problem was.

@GardenGerty I've read about it now. It's good you know what caused it. You needn't worry too much about it happening again, now you know what caused it.

I had spilled some essential oil and probably got it on my hands and definitely inhaled too much of it, not knowing.

I am sorry about that. It is not fun. So far I do not have glaucoma although my eye doctor says I have PRE glaucoma.

@GardenGerty - I had laser surgery to reduce the eye BP, it's a bit better now and it saved my eyes.

Hope you get plenty of sleep, the 1 thing that might just help
is getting plenty of sleep, That's what I'm going to do when
I get done eating, is go take a nap for a few hrs & then come
sleep in the recliner for the rest of the night.

@GardenGerty I LOVE mine it is a blessing
that when I got home from the hosp I bought
me a new 1 cause my other 1 had a squeak.
It helps my back & it gives me the relaxation
I need after hubby goes to bed.

They were still a bit rough this morning but are fine this evening, since I figured it out.

It also could be a reaction to looking at a computer screen all day. I think they have drops for that; and I know they have special glasses for that. I hope your eyes feel better. Have a good day.

I computer in early morning and after work only. Yes, blue blocker lenses help with screen strain.
