Bill Sawyer who is a resident of Ohio Township Pennsylvania used his game camera to record a deer whose gender was not mentioned that a jug attached to its head on Thursday February 22.
Bill then shared the video of the deer with the jar stuck in its head calling the deer "Jughead" which brought out the neighbors of the town which is located near Pittsburgh which brought out around 20 persons to find Jughead and work together to remove the jar from its head
On Wednesday morning Lisa and Matt Mertz were able to remove the jar from the head of Jughead who is a free deer in the forest.
Thanks to the concern from the Mertzes, the deer is happy to be free at last in the forest.

it always amazes me, how kind people are when it comes to helping animals, I think it's just wonderful.

The deer felt bad to have its head inside of a jar.

I have heard of the term "Jarhead" from the military movies on television.

@porwest It did since I do have some knowledge of military lingo growing up in the former Canal Zone in Panama.

Animals can get themselves stuck easily, in things like this that they manage to get into--often because the jars or whatever have held food, and they want to eat the food. It's good this one is saved.

You are right that animals get stuck in these objects due to their need to eat food that is inside the jars.

Either that or they are just curious? I recall reading about a raccoon that had it's head stuck in one of those old type of gas cans that had the larger opening on the top. It didn't have food in it, ever, just gas. But then, raccoons are notorious for getting in to things no one thinks they can get in to, so there's that.

I am in agreement with you that the deer was free being in the jug.
