What's going on the dinner table tonight? I want to know! I am trying a new recipe tonight--risotto primavera. I make pasta primavera every now and then when I am in the mood so the idea of risotto primavera was intriguing. I had all of the ingredients necessary except for the arborio rice. I included that in my grocery order today so now I'm ready to roll. That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? Share with us!
Risotto Primavera showcases the freshness and variety of spring in a bowl loaded with asparagus, peas, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes.

Enjoy your risotto. I just had my usual pork patty, tater tots, and gravy, There is one very good thing the very short month of February did for me and that is that my freezer is still full and at the end of each month it would already be quite empty. Now I have to make a list of all the things I still have before I order my groceries at the beginning of April.

We proably will have something based on black beans and brown rice for supper. We just read a murder mystery that had some information and questions about how animals are treated before they are turned into meat. Hubby already wanted to go the vegetarian route and the descriptions cemented it further. Cat is a pet. Cow can be petted and also eaten. Uh, yeah.

I decided to try to make tempura. I have eaten it at Japanese restaurants but I´ve never tried my hand at it. It is very light, but I have to chocolate cake to fill my tummy.

We ordered out for KFC last night. A 12 piece meal with 3 large sides. We had cole slaw, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes with gravy and I got an extra side of cole slaw just because we like it so much. Set us back about $50. I looked at the recipe you shared. Not something I'd enjoy as a main dish, but it would make a great side.
