Cold, dark and breezy

It is cold, dark and breezy but there is no snow. I am up, and sort of around, but I have to finish packing my lunch. My happy light was my alarm today, and I am carrying it around from room to room to try to charge my batteries. The fresh coffee tasted good, and I ate warm rice pudding for breakfast. I have lentil soup for lunch, but I want to toast a crusty roll to go with it. Maybe this will be winter's last blast.

It's 49F here right now. It will be in the 50s today with heavy rain. I love lentil soup. Have a good day.
