Busy day.

We picked up donated food from three stores for the animal shelter. While there I had to give love to all the cats and dogs.
After that my cousin called and asked if we want to ride on her boat. They are taking it to the lake today. So we went with her and took the boat to the lake. It is fun to be on that boat.
Afterwards she treated us to Subway.
We sure had a fun day.
Did you know that a hummingbird weighs less than a penny.
You eat traces of insects in your food every day.
Tomorrow we are going to get a dream sickle frosty from Wendy's. Have you had one yet.

Sounds like a nice day. I haven't had one, but I have a tag on my key chain I got as a stocking stuffer this Christmas for free Jr. sized Frosties with any purchase. It was missing for awhile, but I found it again, and put it on my keychain..so I will be prepared. I was thinking of using it today, but I didn't want any food. Not surprised about the insects..a bit grossed out, but not surprised.

That's something I wouldn't order for delievery. If it's an option when George starts driving again, maybe.

I've seen video of hummingbirds that look smaller than bees! They are tiny creatures!!

@jstory07 ......People in Asia eat bugs I think. It is a delicacy in some places. Grasshoppers, etc. Ugh! But when food is sparse a person may eat anything. Survivors in crashes and such have been known to drink their own urine. Ooh!

Sounds like a good day. Never been on a boat myself.

You really did a good job by feeding the sheltered animals. I haven't taken frosty from Wendy as I don't know what it is.
