Actually no real adventures unless you want to call driving myself to the boutique today an adventure! I was happy to wake up and find that the swelling in my eye was down enough to where I had good vision today and could drive myself to the boutique. I did not want to blow hubby's day and have him drive me and then wait around until I got off. Now if the big lump under my eye would just go down, I'd feel better. It is so swollen that it touches the lens on my glasses. And that is annoying. I haven't been wearing them and usually do not when I am at home. I had a good day at the boutique. We were steady with customers in and out today. I got to see my favorite teenage model, who was coming by for a photo shoot for the store's advertising. She is a sweet girl! That about it for me. Tomorrow we go back to Baton Rouge for hubby's dr visit for his diabetes. That will make the 3rd trip to Baton Rouge or the area this week. I'm ready for a rest day at home and that won't happen! I am sorry for the swelling under your eye, may be tomorrow it will be better. You need to rest, I hope you can rest during the Easter weekend.

Unfortunately, we have a lot of things to get done this weekend. Hoping to get some of these veggies planted in the garden!! After this week of running to Baton Rouge for boutique and dr. appointments though, I may have to factor in a nap a day!

@kareng - The weather will be horrible until Tuesday morning, I can do nothing in the garden. All stores are closed for Easter, I plan to rest and to do something in the house.

I'm glad the swelling in your eye was down enough for you to drive to the boutique. I'm glad you had a steady flow of customers. I hope today your hubby gets a good report from the doctor.

He did! He got a replacement for the insulin that everyone is out of and the dr. said she is seeing good results with this one and people are losing weight too. He needs that!!

@just4him I hope it is effective for him! He has gained a few pounds in the last couple of months. I know his cardiologist is not going to be happy with that next month when he goes in.

Especially now since we are older!! My hubby mentioned getting appointment with rheumatologist tonight. He's killing me with all of these!

@kareng It sounds like you're a bit like me and, at the moment, have less problems than your husband. We have friends about 10 doors up and they're both struggling a bit with their health.

Tomorrow will be day 6 and it is still swollen very bad. I'm going to see if I can handle an ice pack for a few minutes before bed tonight. I'm supposed to get stitches out Saturday but I don't think we are quite ready for that.

@LindaOHio This antibiotic is making me sleepy. I had to cut back on them yesterday and today I felt much better. I will take a half of one before bed tonight. I just don't want a UTI and/or yeast infection on top of this.

It's not really. Right under my eye still has a huge bulge. I don't see how I am going to get stitches out Saturday. Nope, don't think so.

Hope the swelling under your eye continues to go down. I can imagine that it's uncomfortable when you have to wear your glasses. Glad your day at the boutique was busy and hope the rest of the week goes well. Maybe you can squeeze in a rest somewhere.

I only wear them to drive because the skin under my eye touches the lens. That's how swollen I am!

The main thing today was to get to the shops and back before the downpour! It was actually quite sunny for my trip and I was back enjoying a tea and some crumpets before the rain arrived.
