Happy Saturday! Sun is shining today, birds are chirping it looks like it will be a lovely spring day. Friend and Jax are coming down for dinner tomorrow so I want to go to the store and get a few extra supplies. One thing I wish I could get is a small bag of jelly beans to put on the cupcakes, but I don't,t think I will be able to find them. Might have to use something else. We will see. What are you doing today?

Yeah, but it is the same issue. You have to get a bag of about 30 or 40. You can't buy them individually. I don't really want the remainder of a bag hanging around. I don't have any coconut. Maybe I will get a small bag tint and sprinkle it on.

@LadyDuck Even two dozen are too many. I already have some chocolate. We will see..I will check what the store has.but I think I may go with the coconut Some stores would have small sized bags, but Food Lion doesn't,t

@mayka123 Maybe you could put some Rosemary twigs or fresh thyme or parsley on it. Anything like that that is not an everyday thing would probably be good.

@snowy22315 The only option I have in the fridge is chicken just now. Have to think of how to prepare it. Just something differently because its Easter.

Yes, I know the feeling. I have a little more in the bank that I thought which is surprising as the bills were so high this month. I don't buy too much other than have to buys though.

I haven't seen any jelly beans this year, I think that there are just so many other little eggs that they have on the market now that the old staple that we love has become very sparse.
We were up and out the door just after 7am today, we went to 1 grocery store that had some things on sale that the other store doesn't carry. Then we went to my usual grocery store. We were in a rush because we needed to get downtown to the market where I ordered the lamb so that we could be back home in good time, which we were. I worked from home for 2 hours, as it was busy today because of the end of the month.
This afternoon my hubby is working on his jigsaw puzzle while I watch a movie. Nice, quiet and relaxing.

I’ve been doing some sewing. It’s not raining at the moment, so maybe I’ll go for my daily walk
