I´m eating some of the leftover sweets I made for my neighbor. / myLot

When I tried to pay my neighbor for a job that her gardener did for me, she told me to pay her with some sweets that I had made for Christmas. This time I saved some and I am eating them little by little. It is a mixture of ground cookies, ground nuts, condensed milk and after turning them into a ball I cover them with dark cacao. When my husband was alive I also made some for hin covered with coconut but as I don´t like it, I just do the chocolate ones. This time I made too many so I left some of them here. I can promise you that they will not be spoiled by staying too long in any place before being eaten.

I have eaten that and some new potatoes with butter. I was too lazy to do the creamed spinach although the spinach is cooked. I´ll eat that for dinner or tomorrow. See you. It is nap time now.

Those sweets sound yummy and quite easy to make perhaps. They need to be easy to make if I'm going to make them.

I mixed everything and made a roll of it in a plastic wrap. Then I put it inside the fridge for a while. When it was cold, I cut them in small pieces and covered them with the chocolate.

@marguicha I can buy those tiny potatoes and they really are delicious. Unfortunately, they are way, way more expensive than regular potatoes, so we don't have them very often.
