Queen of the Closet

I have a built-in closet with double sliding doors in my workroom. In the front, I hang my clothes and there is a shelf on which I put my bed linens. Behind all this is a deep storage space that my friend Nick has piled full of stuff he has no room to put. That does not bother me the stuff was piling up long before I came to Florida. Someday perhaps he’ll check it all out but I somehow doubt that. Anyway on top of a pile of stuff along the left side is a long, soft cushion. Tish checked all this out and decided that she was ready to become the “Greta Garbo of the Cat World” and moved in. Having no luggage she now sleeps on the cushion and spends her time in the closet. I keep the doors partially open so she can come out for food, drink, and the litter box. Her brother Freddie occasionally enters the sacred realm and visits his sister.

I always enjoy cats as long as they belong to other people. My daughter has a cat and it is really cool but to live with a cat I am more of a dog person

We keep Chilly out of ourse. The few times he's outsmarted us, he's only stayed in the closet a few seconds at a time. I'm glad Tish enjoys yours.

One of my cats loves going to my mother's closet. One time she accidently shut the door and she shut her in and we did let her out. Another cat loves the closet in here. She always has to go into it when I open it up.
