Another of the games played at our Easter gathering

Our village celebrated Easter with a gathering at the clubhouse. Most had takeaway pizza or fish and chips and, when we’d finished our meal, we joined in some games. Apart from a raffle for a very generous basket of goodies, all the games were free. One of the games we played involved tossing a coin to land on one of the packets of confectionery on the table. We were given three coins each. The items were flattened out to make it a bit easier. Vin won a packet of five small chocolates. I wasn’t so lucky but I get to eat those that Vince won so it’s all good. That’s me in the photo. The thing around my neck is the card that we have to swipe to get into the clubhouse.

We did win a group prize which was individual chocolates for another game so it was all good.

Good that Vince shared with you. If my husband would win something that he loves, he will not share it easily. He would tease me and then share

. You look good. This village of yours sounds so perfect for post retirement settlement. Never a dull day there. You have so many events and activities throughout to keep you engaged and entertained.

I think I would have liked that game. I would have preferred darts though. I am pretty accurate with a dart board. I have won prizes.

Good for you. They play darts twice a week at the clubroom but I don't go. I've never been much good at darts.
