I brought a hot cup of coffee to my night table and had to put on a bathrobe to go to the kitchen. It is getting more chilly in the morning. I guess I´ll have to put away the summer nighties and PJs.
I will have to clean up the kitchen as soon as I get up. Yesterday I left soaking some of the dishes and yesterday´s lazyness will mean more work today.
I will also check everything I need for Thursday, when my brother will come for dinner with his wife. That means that I will need to ask for groceries. And as I´m buying directly from the supermarket now, I have to pay for the shipping.
Dixie paid a yearly fare and she receives her groceries with free shipping. But as I buy a lot less, it is not worth it for me.
I´ll make the list buy will ask for them tomorrow when Anita come to work. Then she can help me put everything away.

When Leticia worked here, we went together to the supermarket. It is at a walking distance. When I only needed bread, it was the most expensive bread in the world as I included a lot of delicious things that I should not buy..

It is funny this time of the year the Northern and Southern hemispheres are roughly the same temp. of course in our case we are getting ready for summer and you are getting ready for winter. You fall, us spring. What are you having for dinner when your bro comes?

I decided to do the same I cooked for Leticia. It is easy and elegant. I already bought a trout and I will bake it with only salt and butter. I´ll add cooked new potatoes at the end. I´ll make easy appetizers and a green salad. I´m planning to buy the dessert, an iced raspberry and meringue one.

Spring is officially on the calendar but todays temperatures aren't very spring-like. I'm still dressing for chilly weather.
Paying extra for your groceries is probably worth it to have it all delivered. I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit with your brother.

@marguicha It was just another day;but very hot Today the mercury touched 39 C.Within 15 days or so we will be having 45 or 50 C.

The kitchen is absolutly clean. That is wonderful. And I will do something with some cooked spinach I have and the last cooked new potatoes. I might make creamed spinach again.

We had torrential rains last night and it has turned quite chilly. We may get some wet s**w tomorrow. Ugh. Have a good day.
