2 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from snowy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Yes, it's April, and yes, it's snowing. It's supposed to snow until tomorrow afternoon and get up to 12 inches. Nine of it is expected to accumulate. 
I have much to be thankful about today.
I'm thankful for Bible study this morning. I didn't know yesterday if I would go as the person who normally brings me home, wasn't there today. However, my friend down the hall said she would bring me home, and she wasn't planning to eat with the ladies. Of course that changed before the study started. My friend is part of the elder board for her church and they had a lunch meeting after the study today. I'm glad she brought me home first. Then she went back for the meeting.
I'm thankful for the Punch and Prizes Easter Egg party this afternoon. It was so much fun!!! Prizes went to everyone who had special eggs, and won the jellybean and cotton ball count. So I got a prize. I found one of the special eggs.
I'm thankful the Writer's Guild meeting is on Zoom. It starts in just under half an hour. So I need to get logged in there soon.
I'm thankful I could spend part of my day with you. I have the notifications finished for the second time today. It's always fun to see what's happening in your world.

I am thankful that my pain management doctor appointment, a usual crapshoot, went well today. He’s notorious for forgetting to call prescriptions in on time (unfortunately can’t get a new doctor). Turns out, last month he first called in my medication to the wrong pharmacy, but when he called it in to the correct pharmacy he forgot to cancel the first prescription. This resulted in me getting a text from my pharmacy this morning, telling me my pain meds were ready before I even SAW my doctor. What a blessing not to have to worry he’d mess it up again.

Wow 12 inches of snow! One thing I am thankful for is not getting 12 inches of snow in April..

I love your photo, nice job:) I'm thankful that Auto Zone refunded my money, after I got scammed. And I'm happy about the mystery I'm reading, Laura Childs is a wonderful author! And I'm thankful, Jay is picking up pizza for tonight's meal! xoxo God is good to me:)

I'm thankful that I may be seeing my husband on Friday. I am hoping that the Referral is received by the new rehab facility ASAP. Have a good day.

I'm thankful that George did something new and different. It's ten o'clock, and as predicted he's been spending more time outdoors. We're still watching a lot more t.v. than we used to, but everyday it feels like a little less. I mentioned wanting to go to the store to pick up some other things to give George more veriity, and George seems okay with the idea. Although over the last couple of days, he's been talking more about his peg tube and wanting it out.
