Good News: Stitches Out! Yay!

Monday I went in to get my stitches out. I also needed evaluation of the area under my eye. It is not healing well, swelling not going down and very hard. I was worried about it. I was also worried about getting the stitches in that area taken out. It was rough but I survived. The other area looks good and minimal scarring from what I can determine now will happen. The other area is another story. There will be scarring. I really think I needed another couple of stitches there. After the stitches were removed I had to wait for another doctor to come around to take a look at it. He referred me to a Otolaryngology. Now did you just say, "WHAT?" That is what I did! This is a Head and Neck Specialist/Surgeon. Appointment scheduled for Thursday morning. I will update you all then. I'm a bit nervous! Photo: Baby Squirrel because he's CUTE! I hope your appointment goes well. Has the rooster been made into soup by now? I hope so.

@kareng With so much new technology, I just don't understand why it takes forever anytime we step foot in a cell phone store.

@kareng That's a very long time to have to wait for a phone to be set up.

@1creekgirl I hear what you're saying. In some ways, technology has slowed a lot of things down.

875 mg. I have a hard time with this one too. In the past it has always had me vomiting. I have had to snap them in half and take half what I should because I felt a UTI coming on. One thing after another...

This sounds concerning, I hope the appointment goes well. About the scars, a friend of mine had an accident and a scar on her face that was removed with a laser treatment.

@kareng - She had to wait a few weeks before the laser treatment, but it worked very well, you cannot even notice she had a scar on her face.

@MarieCoyle Crazy, but they really went over and beyond to help us. Not many companies will buy a cell phone from you and give you what it is actually worth!

I had never heard of it before myself. They told me at the Emergency Room that I was being referred to ENT- Ear, Nose & Throat so I was surprised when I saw that and had to look it up! I did comment to my hubby when we were leaving though that I didn't know why I was being referred to ENT because I had nothing wrong with ears, nose or throat!! Now we know!!

Right, they didn't know what to do because didn't appear to be anything under there to drain.

Yep! I'm glad they are out. One set was pulling down skin. It just felt weird. It still feels weird because of all the swelling and knot.
