The U S Navy destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur answered an emergency call from two males who were in the Pacific Ocean in need of being rescued when their boat started to sink on Monday March 4 of this year. The crew of the destroyer saw one of the two males in the ocean while the other male was hanging on to the boat that was sinking. The destroyer sent an inflatable boat to the area where the boat was sinking as a U S Navy swimmer to save the two males from drowning in the ocean. After the two males were rescued by the navy diver, they were given medical attention aboard the ship and dry clothes/ And then a United States Coast Guard helicopter to San Diego where they are safe and sound thanks to the work of the United States Navy sailors who just did their duty. How scary. A sinking ship and these poor two guys. My dad was in the Navy and we are lucky to have the Coast Guard out there in case there are such problems.

Glad they were rescued, Wonder how they got into that mess in the first place, I say anyone going out in a boat should know what they are doing unless a natural disaster of some kind occurs,

They would have been pleased to be able to change into dry clothes.

Without the making of that emergency call, they might have lost their lives. It is paramount for people on boats to have such equipment on them in good working order.

That is true about boaters having emergency equipment.
