Thursday Coffee Talk

Happy Thursday Everyone! the sun was peeking out when I got up this morning but now it's disappeared behind some really dark and stormy looking clouds. Guess today will be like yesterday with more pouring rain and thunderstorms.
Yesterday turned out to be a day that just disappeared. The groomer came and by the time she was finished it was pouring so hard it would have been difficult for her to drive. So, I put on a pot of coffee and we chatted until the rain let up enough for her to leave.
The weather was really bad in the afternoon with winds that were scary as well as torrential rain and a few busts of thunder that shook the house.
I'm hoping that today isn't as bad as yesterday.
My fun agenda for today is making a grocery list for our weekend shopping. I have an ongoing list so now it's just a matter of fine-tuning it with what we need for the upcoming week. I want to get out of my menu rut so I have a few different things on my list (pork tenderloin, beef cubes for stew, ham steaks).
Now I need to get to my notifications since I didn't get to spend much time here yesterday. The internet is acting up so I hope it doesn't go out.
How's the weather in your neck of the woods? Are you getting storms like we are?

It is nice and sunny, but early next week the severe weather comes back. I’ll just enjoy what we have, and not worry about next week. I’m currently trying to figure out how to get a heavy box from Amazon into my apartment, but I’m stuck. Maybe maintenance will be willing to help me. It’s too heavy to even steal.

I hope you can get someone to help you with your heavy box.
I've seen that you've been getting some pretty severe weather this week. We've been getting some bad weather too but not nearly as bad as what you got.

@AmbiePam it's good you keep your phone and flashlights charged. It would be terrible to lose power and not have enough charge.
Your flamingo stickers sound so cute. I think of you all the time when I pick out stickers for my journal from the big batch you sent me.

Hope the sun comes back so you can get your gardening done.
Our yards are too soggy for any gardening right now. We've had constant rain all week.

Here too. My Thursday morning was cold and rainy. It wasn't good. It was muddy outside on my way to the stage.
But we had sunshine in the afternoon. Happy Thursday to you too.

I had to go out this morning, and it was coolish, but within a couple of hours it was nice but felt muggy.
It wasn't too long after that where I noticed the skies grew dark, but still no rain.
It was slow to come, and our temperature actually went up to 9C but as it began to spit and then rain that temperature dropped quickly to just 5C. The rain has stopped, and I will not complain, because just a couple of hours east of where we live they are dealing with alot of snow and colder temperatures.

I'm sorry the weather was so bad on Wednesday. I'm glad the groomer stayed until it was safe to leave.
We had snow and rain this week. Today, it's sunshine.

No storms over here but it would be nice really. Some heavy rain would be lovely. It's quite warm today.
