April 15 is the average last day of frost here. After that it should be safe to put out houseplants. I took two out anyway this weekend. I am just so ready for them to be outside. So I took an asparagus fern out as it is pretty cold tolerant and a purple wandering jew which is not supposed to be a houseplant anyway. It gets too leggy. It is a summer ornamental. We will see if I have jinxed myself.

The long-term forecast here is showing 60s and 70s during the day. Hopefully your plants will be OK. Have a good day.

They tell us to wait until Derby Day. It’s okay, because I don’t deal with plants. The only way I’d have a green thumb is to dunk it in some paint.

Our frost date is in April also but I always wait until May. I have seen snow that late

I am impatient for night frosts to go away, too. My gardening helper insists that frosts won't quit until after Mom's Day. I am raring to plant green beans etc. I admit it was close to freezing last night.

Hopefully you won't have jinxed yourself but that is certainly what can happen in cases like this.
