Solar Eclipse Insanity

In the Florida Panhandle, a 22-year-old Georgia woman shot at two cars going down the highway. First, she shot at one car and then at another. Just randomly having a shooting spree. Two people were injured but will be all right. The woman was arrested claiming that God had told her to do this in connection with the solar eclipse. What I say is that I know God is merciful so for this crazy, lying woman the best I can hope is that the law sees she is mentally ill and will put her in an institution to get the help she so badly needs. Thank heavens, that she did not kill anyone.

Sadly, she may not even do time. We have two extremes. We either treat people like their glass and may break, or we do nothing and said person gets a slap on the wrist.

@kaylachan Well this one certainly needs a lot of help. Since she is from Georgia perhaps they can help her there. One can only hope since she is not a person capable of leading her own life,

@RasmaSandra The vast majority of mass shootings in this country aredone by someone mentally unstable. If the person doesn't succeed in killing themselves, they never get the help they need.

The sad thing is these mentally unstable people get on medication that “works”, but once they get off probation or just out from under scrutiny, they stop their medication and go back to being mentally unfit. Too many people decide they are better, and just stop their meds. It’s crazy.

@AmbiePam we live in crazy times, Here I wonder why she chose to come to Florida and do what she did but not stay in Georgia, Perhaps she thought she could see the eclipse better here and now she will probably get turned loose and be a danger to herself and others

I read that in a news email I get. Crazies should stay inside. Ugh! This is one reason I don't go out.

@celticeagle I know it's illogical to think this way but since I can keep busy, order everything online and I am safe in my four walls I might never venture out again and yet, I know I should go out walking in the fresh air and sunshine as long as the Lord walks with me

@RebeccasFarm usually if things could not be helped they say to keep it in your own backyard but she took her troubles to Florida

@kobesbuddy that is the biggest sin of all blaming such insane acts on the Lord but I know He will have His own way with dealing with such people

@RasmaSandra God never does strange, insane things. He's reasonable and his root purpose is for my own good! :)

I'm glad nobody was hurt. I hope the woman gets help before she does something else dangerous.

@sallypup as you can see from the conversation I had with @kaylachan the unfortunate thing is that she might just get fined and let go and that won't help either her or anyone that interacts with her afterward

It is a shame that some people will claim that He orders people to shoot other people just for celebrating the eclipse.

Fortunately, the woman was unable to kill any human being. Unfortunately, she destroyed two cars by shooting randomly. Since she is thought to be mentally ill, she should be sent to mental hospital. If she is not treated, she may do another harmful deeds.
