Self pampering.... rejuvenated

Good afternoon from this side of the planet 
. It's a discussion after a long. I posted no discussion in the month of March and already ten days have passed in April. Hope April is treating you well.
It's another bright sunny and hot day here. Not happy about the heat 
Self love and self care is extremely important. And today was the day for that. I totally deserved it. I am back after spending almost five hours in the salon
. And I am fully rejuvenated.
It has been a great day so far. Today result for my younger daughter came out. She cleared her 12th standard board exams with flying colours. She secured 95.6 percent 
. Can't believe that my younger one has graduated High school and is ready to start her college life from June. Glad that she has chosen a local college for her graduation and will be staying with us. After my elder one left for her dream college so far, we always wished to have the younger one stay with us.
I spent most of my day in salon, got head massage, body massage, hair spa and pedicure. It's a great feeling when someone is working on your body and you can relax with your eyes closed or browsing a fashion magazine 
. Feeling rejuvenated. 
It's summer vacation time for me till May end. I am making best use of this vacation to travel, meet friends and family, deep cleaning and arrangements around the house and to relax and pamper myself. We had a relaxed vacation at Phuket in the last week of March..We enjoyed the famous Thai massage..it was so relaxing.
Now, I am all set to travel this weekend to my mom's home.

@arunima25 And so you should be. Such children have to work twice as hard as others to achieve - at least sometimes they do.

Thank you Judy. She was very happy. She is on Autism spectrum and journey has been a remarkable one for both of us. She begged a rank. So proud of her.

@JudyEv Yes, they do. She struggles on a day to day basis to make sense of world around her. Good that she can articulate well and is able to share with me. But then few things become too overwhelming for her and we get those meltdowns. She is pretty bright and Autism gives her extraordinary focus and motivation. Once she decides, she doesn't give up.

Pampering oneself isn’t a treat, it’s a necessity. Happy you enjoyed it.

Thank you. She was very happy and I was too emotional. She is on spectrum and it has been a remarkable journey for both of us. I deserved that pampering. Today, I could work so much better around the home. A lot of cleaning is already taken care of.

Your massage sounds amazing and I can imagine how good you feel.
That's good news to hear your younger daughter will be staying with you while she starts college. It's hard when the kids go away to college.

It was amazing. I felt so good and better after that. We are happy to have her with us for few more years. Once children leave your nest, they hardly come back. I have missed my elder one so much ij the last two years.
I am going for two weeks. I will spend one week with my mom and brother. And one week with my mother in law. A lot of travel in this month.
