Your Day

What did you guys do today? I’m thinking some of you worked your tail off, some of you did some much appreciated caregiving, a few of you questioned your feelings toward your phones and taxes, several of you muddled your way through pain, and a heck of a lot of you did it with a smile on your face.
I loved this picture so I thought I’d share it. I hope whatever time of day or night it is for you, you’re having a good one.

I love the picture.
There is a llama farm not too farm from our area, I love driving by on a nice day when they have them out for a walk.
They walk them like you would a dog down the country road.
I got an email this afternoon saying that there was a doctor near me that was accepting new patients. I had to apply to get onto the provincial list of patients seeking a family doctor, which I did a couple of weeks ago, and got this email today. After work I quickly drove over to that office and filled out an application. He is screening patients on the wait list to possibly take on as patients. It is difficult to know how to proceed without a regular doctor when you have health issues. I hope that he takes me on.

I'll pray too that the doctor will take you as a patient.

Yesterday, I was angry for no reason. I wanted to curl up in a corner and sulk, for no reason. I don't know the last time I felt that way. However, I didn't let anyone know how angry I was as I smiled my way through the day and played a wonderful game of Canasta, visited here, and worked on a book before I got off the computer and watched television. It was a strange day that I hope I don't repeat again in a very long time, if ever.

@just4him Valerie, I believe we all have attacks from Satan at times that can really affect us. I pray that you've felt better since then.

Hee hee - cute! I did my odds and ends of routine stuff (dropping kids off, laundry, dishes, etc) but also got to thrift shop (bargain day!). I picked them up already, we had to do an unplanned trip to the library, and now we're home until we have to go to Open House at my son's school in a couple hours.

That is so cute.
I had xrays Friday on my back in preparation for the ablation procedure, hopefully. My eye started hurting Friday (of course it did) and has been so painful all weekend. The only thing that kept me out of the ER, where they couldn't help anyway, was some of Dale's steroid eye drops. They ease the pain enough for a few hours. I'll be waiting at the eye doctor's office in the morning.
Hope you're well, Amber.

@1creekgirl There is nothing wrong with complaining. And I doubt you do it often. I wish I could effectively explain what an inspiration you are to me. I haven’t seen anyone tried so much since my mother, and like her, you allow God to use you.
“Because He lives I can face tomorrow…” You’re right, we just wouldn’t survive. And thank God He allowed Dale to walk this path with you.

@AmbiePam I know I can depend on that and it means the world to me.
Do you sometimes have trouble believing my posts? When I try to read them as another person, they almost seem untrue. I wish they were. But so many have much worse things happening in their lives. I feel guilty complaining, but sometimes I just think, "What in the world is it now!"
I sure wouldn't survive without Jesus. And Dale, even though I could strangle him at times, lol.
